At The White Hart we pride ourselves on offering a fresh farm to fork menu, sourcing our ingredients from UK Fishmongers and local Fulborn butchers & greengrocers. Our aim is to support local and purchase as much locally as we can. We have regular deliveries from the Fens and throughout the year we collect asparagus, strawberries, apples and plums from local farms. Our honey is collected from Burwell and our flour is milled in Swaffham Prior.
The Fruit Shop
The Fruit Shop has been run by the Wombwell family for over 50 years. It was purchased by Diana and Gordon in the early 70’s then ran by their Son Richard. Before this the building served the village as a Co-op and Blacksmiths.
Richard Beaumont Butchers
Richard Beaumont Butchers products include a range of quality meats all chosen from local farms which comply with the organic ethos as closely as possible. Their beef on the bone/carcass is hung for 21 days, and then into primal cuts and hung for a further week. They are particularly renowned for their fresh meats and homemade sausages and are the main suppliers for the White Hart.
